XLOOKUP, and a message instead of #N/A
XLOOKUP takes the thing to find, the range to search, and the range to return from. No column counting, and the two ranges can be anywhere, including to the left of each other, which VLOOKUP cannot do.
It matches exactly by default, which is the safer way round. And its fourth argument is what to show when nothing is found, so a missing code can say "Not in catalogue" instead of #N/A.
The one thing to watch is that the two ranges must be the same height. If they are not, the answers come back shifted, so this engine refuses with #VALUE! rather than silently misaligning them.
In G2, use XLOOKUP to find the product for the code in F2, showing Not in catalogue when the code is unknown. Then fill G2 down to G3.
